Metadata tutorial | Adobe Photoshop

Fairpicture follows the IPTC standards (https://iptc.org) and strictly requires the necessary metadata for each photo and video. 

See our IPTC metadata guidelines.

Without the correct IPTC metadata, the image material cannot be delivered to the client.



Open the Metadata information in Adobe Photoshop and add the following information:


1. Under BASIC

Add the information like in the example into the fields:

2. Under IPTC / IPTC Image (scroll down)

3. Under IPTC / IPTC Status (scroll down)

4. Under IPTC / IPTC Extensions (scroll down)

5. Under IPTC / IPTC Extensions (scroll down)

Bridge 6

Bridge 6_fields


6. File / Export / Save for Web (Legacy)

IMPORTANT: To save the metadata added you must export your files as follows:

photoshop export image
