What you get compensated for

Modified on Tue, 19 Sep 2023 at 11:23 AM

We compensate you for all days that you are:

  • travelling to the location of the production

  • producing on site

  • editing (postproduction)

For producing advanced videography you will get a different rate on production days, as more equipment and a more extensive skill set is required. The rate for postproduction and travelling days remains the same as for photography projects.

You can see all our rates on your project page on the platform under "Compensation visual creator".

1 working day represents 8-10 hours.

0.5 working days represent 4-5 hours.

Additionally to your daily compensation we reimburse you:

  • A fixed amount lump sum expenses on all production and travelling days (not on postproduction days) for small expenses like food, batteries, phone, etc..

  • Assistants for large video productions (and on demand) on all travel and production days. The client must agree prior to the hiring of an assistant.

  • All travel and accommodation expenses according to their actual costs (receipts needed!)

Further expenses and compensation

If you are anticipating further major expenses, please let us know well in advance so that we can obtain the client's consent. Otherwise, no refund can be made.

Should extensive pre-production be required, we will compensate you for your time. However, compensated pre-production time must be agreed with the client in advance. Should you expect intensive preparations, please reach out to us at the moment where you accept the briefing.
